Textile Arts Center Fiscal Year and Dues Payment Year
Fiscal year is April 1-March 31
· Facilitates Board transition
o Election of Officers in March
o Financial Reports end with officers term.
Dues payment period is October 1 – September 30.
· Matches current operating procedures,
o Members pay dues when return to SSV for winter season.
o Renewing members will have until after the 1st business meeting in January to pay current year dues.
§ Treasurer will remove non-paying members from GroupWorks roster by January 15.
o New members can join and pay dues at anytime.
§ New members will be classified as an individual who has not been a member for the prior 2 fiscal years.
§ New members who pay dues between April 1 and September 30, will automatically be considered a member until the end of the next full dues payment period.
§ Example: New member pays dues in June 2020. No membership since September 30, 2018. Next dues will be due October 1, 2021.
